Charged back her rental even without fault on our part

Marilou Cruz booked a car to our company for May 7, 2021. She wasn't able to come because of the travel ban. We offered her a non expiring travel fund for the 20% confirmation deposit that she paid (even though our normal policy is no refund for late cancellation, but we understood it's not her fault).

Despite that, she made a chargeback to her bank to get back her deposit, without even contacting us. So now, even though we are deeply affected by the pandemic (without any income since a year…) interacting with her led us to loose more money. The payment processor will charge us a fee for this chargeback, in addition to the money she paid and we offered her to use whenever she was going to come back.

Definitely do not recommend to do any business with her for that reason. She didn't even threatened us to make a chargeback. She just went silent and did it without any warning, making interacting with her not only a loss of our time but a financial damage for our already struggling activity (the pandemic has been devastating for tourism where we are: it's more than a year we are without any income…).
